In the heart of the Natural Regional Park of the Catalan Pyrenees...

The Natural Regional Park of the Catalan Pyrenees extends over 138 000 hectares, covering the areas of the Cerdagne, Capcir and Haut-Conflent, all in the department of the Pyrénées-Orientales.
It is home to 64 villages, and 21 000 inhabitants, with 7 Nature Reserves.
It is the first French Natural Regional Park of the Pyrenean mountain range.
The park includes 12 ski resorts and 2 spa resorts, and since 1910, the Little Yellow Train has regularly travelled the 62 kilometres between Villefranche-de-Conflent and Latour-de-Carol,

The mountains of the Pyrénées-Orientales hide a rich flora and fauna, typical of mountains exposed to a Mediterranean climate.

From winter to the beginning of spring, with its ski resorts and winter sports activities, the park transforms itself into a paradise for skiers. Snow shoe walks, downhill or cross country skiing, dog sleighs…

Whatever the season, the record hours of sunshine and the range of nature activities available, offer a variety of different possibilities to approach these natural areas, either along the trails of the Grande Randonnée (GR 10) or off the beaten track....
